Wimbledon Virus Removal (recent job)
This gentlemen in Wimbledon called us for Virus Cleanup in his Sony Vaio laptop with Windows 8 on it. Our engineer attended the call and went to the client’s house for the job. The laptop was badly infected with a powerful virus called Goner. This virus transmits itself using an email with subject “Hi”. In the message body it reads “When I saw this screen saver, I immediately thought about you. I am in a harry (sic), I promise you will love it.” Its attachment is labelled “gone.scr.”. Our engineer managed to get rid of the virus within an hour and also installed anti-virus program to make sure it never comes back again.
