Macbook Air repair (recent job from Wandsworth, SW18)
We got this Macbook Air A1466 with liquid spilled on it. It was not turning on at all. We dismantled every component and fully cleaned and dried it using a heat-gun. The damage was too much and it did not help solve the problem and still there was no sign of life. We dismantled it again and checked the logic board on our machine and it seemed to be ok. It pointed out to a faulty power button. The power button on this type of Macbook Air is an integral part of the keyboard/palmrest. We used one of our keyboards with this laptop and it started like normal. So, we had to replace the keyboard as well. Problem solved!
